Baked Alaska and Ice Cream Bombes

Hello food lovers,

Today in school we made baked Alaska and ice cream bombes (pictures will be up of the ice cream bombe, forgot to take some of the baked Alaska. They both are the same thing, the only difference between both of them is that a Baked Alaska is covered in meringue, and a bombe is covered in any other type of covering.

The basic elements of both desserts are ice cream or sorbet  and a thin layer of cake.
To assemble:
1) Fill a bombe bowl ( for a big one) with one type of softened ice cream and place a smaller bowl in the middle and freeze until hardened.

2) After hardened, pop smaller bowl out and place a different flavor (and preferably another color) ice cream in the middle. Cover with a thin layer of cake and cake round and freeze.

3)to remove from from the mold, run hot water over the bottom and push to one side of the bombe.

4) put back in freezer to harden again

6) Decorate with chocolate or meringue and enjoy

Top: Baked Alaska
Bottom: Bombe
I did not make either one of these. I found these on google.
to make mor than two layers, just keep layering bowls and ice creams
